"A must do up close & personal encounter!"

An incredible wildlife experience that is a New Zealand must do! To see the NZ fur seal up close and personal was a privilege. They are inquisitive, delightful mammals who look right at you coming close to check you out! Thank you to Vanessa, Graham and Al for an awesome morning.

“must do activity in kaikoura”

It was an amazing experience to swim with seals. We were surrounded by playful seals, they were very curious and did come close to us (20 cm). The whole trip was very well organized, first Vanessa helped us with choosing the right size of wetsuit then we got instructions how to behave around seals so that the experience is good for us and the animals. All the facilities, the boat, showers, wetsuit were good quality and fairly new. After one hour swimming in cold water we were happy to receive a hot shower on board before driving back to the shore.

“Amazing , seals are so inquisitive and they visit your space”

Great way to see seals up close in their natural environment. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had never snorkelled before but with some friendly guidance and reassurance from Herb it was a day I will not forget for a long time. Thank you, a definite must do activity in Kaikoura!

“Amazing experience!”

Small groups, well organised tours, friendly staff and guides and always as "seal friendly" as possible (the company is very respectful of the seals in the way they encounter them).

The seals are just too cute. We got to swim with a few and they are amazing swimmers and very confident and much more curious under water.

I enjoyed swimming with them and the whole tour very much and can definitely recommend it to anyone (even families with kids as long as the kids manage to be quiet and patient). :-)
